Project concept

The project connects to two existing hangar buildings and their industrial surroundings, where the primary goal of the development was to create an innovative recreational function that provides a unique experience for visitors.

The aim of the development is to create a building complex that, due to the nature of its functions and the character of the building ensemble, can attract visitors from the broader environment and throughout all seasons of the year. The planned building offers relaxation and entertainment opportunities for all ages, from the very young to adults.

Precision in BIM Modeling

Our team embarked on a survey of the building, offering scan to BIM services to our client. The objective, post-digitizing the building’s existing condition, was to create a BIM model, allowing our colleagues to craft the concept design. Throughout the BIM modeling stage, our goal was to maintain a minimal margin of error – less than 5 cm – in both horizontal and vertical dimensions, aligning with industry standards. We are delighted to report that we successfully achieved this exceptional level of precision in our modeling work.

Design and Facilities

We envisioned a playhouse and adventure park, equipped with high-quality, durable materials and innovative features, next to a go-kart track. The two existing hangars will be connected by a modern, sleek annex. They will receive a uniform, elegant metal sheet facade. The contrast between the existing buildings and the annex is realized through a transparent glass facade.

The go-kart track, a dominant element of the courtyard, offers exciting leisure opportunities for older generations as well. There, an outdoor playground and climbing wall will also be situated. The restaurant and bar, with a clean, elegant atmosphere, balance the lively colors of the play area, creating a resting point within the complex. It’s a modern yet cozy space where small and large families alike can visit.

Interactive and Inclusive Play Area

The key elements of the play area are capsules, which fully utilize the high ceilings and open spaces of the hangars. These capsules are exciting elements to explore, from which long slides lead into a sea of balls. Climbing nets designed for different age groups have been developed. Children can also descend into the labyrinth system from the above net system.

Conclusion

In summary, this project ambitiously aims to transform existing industrial structures into a vibrant and innovative leisure destination. Through clever design and thoughtful planning, it seeks to provide a unique and inclusive experience for visitors of all ages.

The integration of high-quality materials and modern aesthetics in both the playhouse and adventure park, alongside the strategic use of existing hangar spaces, emphasizes the project’s commitment to sustainability and adaptability. This development not only revitalizes the local area but also sets a benchmark for future urban regeneration projects, blending leisure, culture, and community engagement seamlessly.
